The company Wachenfeld Natursteinwerk GmbH was founded in 1883 and is now in its fifth generation of family ownership.

The company’s philosophy is based on the experiences it has gathered and has always had its roots in the aim of combining quality in the tradition of craftsmanship with technical innovations and timeless design concepts.

The business has its main focus on the areas of façade and cladding construction, interior design, restoration, the production and processing of sandstone products from its own fabrication facility in addition to the development and manufacture of cantilever staircase systems for a diverse range of applications at home and abroad.

Natural Types of stone are mainly used, these being produced and processed at the company’s own natural stone works in Volkmarsen-Külte.
The order processing from the computer-assisted planning and design stage to the fabrication right through to the complete final assembly is conducted in the company’s own production facilities and is performed and monitored by appropriately qualified staff. This permits a high level of quality control and rapid project handling.
